How You Can Help Hidden Stars
Thank you for your interest in supporting Hidden Star and helping these disadvantaged, low income, and minority entrepreneurs follow their dreams. Your donation will be processed through PayPal, the worldwide leader in secure online payments. You can use your credit card or a PayPal account, whichever is more convenient for you.
Hidden Star is IRS approved 501(c)(3) organization, so donations are tax deductible. We strictly follow the IRS financial, accountability and reporting rules for such organizations, Donated funds go to providing free services to low income, disadvantaged, and minority entrepreneurs.
We know you want every dollar you donate to be spent wisely, and we share that goal.
Hidden Star is a proven, efficient organization with a track record of supporting low-income and minority entrepreneurship and new job creation. The U.S. Department of Commerce has given us a significant grant and has subsequently described Hidden Star as a high-performing grantee. We are outperforming our initial estimates and are on target to create more jobs, attract more private investment, and help more disadvantaged business owners than projected.
Thus far, we are helping create jobs for less than $1,800 each; putting Hidden Star near the top of the most efficient job-creating programs. Only about 8% of our total spending goes to overhead and administration, and 92% goes directly to helping create new businesses and new jobs.
